0.8.09.13.odt Genetically-modified seed yields genetically-modified insects, fungi, and other bacterial matter in the soil, as proven by Chinese farmers usage of two decades. The roundup-ready seed, and I would guess: the roundup itself, no longer is alleviating the insect pest problem in those Chinese farmers' crops; and has led to crop-failure, in too many instances to ignore.
And what of the birds and other wildlife that eat plant parts? And what might be the results obtained by following their animal and avian droppings' merging with the soil? Will the fungi and soil bacteria start eating their partners in propagation in stead of helping the plants gain their necessary foods from the soil? Will earthworms go bananas and take over the world's ecosystems? Argh!
